Composer and kamanche player

He started to play kamanche with Ahmad Marahemi.. He continued Persian music with two famous musicians Ardeshir Kamkar and Mohammad Reza Lotfi.

Mehran has a wide range of research on Moqam music, and he uses the concepts in his pieces. He learned the theory of Western and Iranian music, harmony, counterpoint, instrumentation, orchestration, and composition with Amir Eslami and then continued his advanced courses in composition with Professor Ahmad Pejman.

He considers the basis of his composition based on Eastern music and specifically improvisation.
